CALLUM DENNIEN

Callum is a software engineer, with experience in application and software development. However, his primary focus is web development.

Having recently completed his Bachelor's of Information Technology at JCU where he was awarded the prize of excellence, Callum is constantly exploring new ideas and concepts in an attempt to further refine his web development skills.

Describe what you do at Forte Marketing?
I assist with the development of websites.

What solutions do you deliver to clients?
I was brought on to help implement websites and bring designs to life.

We all have different ways of working - how would you describe your approach to work?
I like to create an outline and goals before beginning on a project. This helps me better organise my time, and always keep on track.

What did you do before you started at Forte Marketing and what most appealed to you about joining the team?
Aside from the studying, I was also working on web and app development projects.

What appealed to me is the work, I love what I do, and this opportunity was perfect.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment at Forte Marketing?
The team are amazing. Though the coffee is a close second…

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?
I love when I get the opportunity to delve into a new programming language or framework while working on a project. Shows I always have a lot more I can learn.

If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
Omnilingualism, it would help me communicate with everyone… also with coding.

What would you typically be doing and where would we find you when you’re not at work?
I am always somewhere either working on personal development projects or playing games with friends.

Tell us something surprising about yourself.
I love camping and travelling and plan to do a lot more in the future.
