Describe what you do at Forte Marketing?
I’m the supporting orbit behind everything at Forte Marketing. I handle the administrative flow and keep systems organised so the team can focus on strategy, creativity, and execution without friction.

What solutions do you deliver to clients?
I tackle the little things so our team can focus on the big things. By keeping operations efficient and organised, I help create a smoother workflow that ultimately supports better delivery, clearer communication, and stronger results for our clients.

We all have different ways of working - how would you describe your approach to work?
I balance bursts of hyperfocus with system-based discipline. Tools like the Pomodoro technique and (very colourful) Post-it notes help me channel energy into productive flow.

What did you do before you started at Forte Marketing and what most appealed to you about joining the team?

I have a colourful career and am quite lucky to maintain most of it. I'm a lawyer who took my chance to fiddle with the creative industry. Before Forte Marketing, I worked for a national-level fashion week in Indonesia in their public relations department and then as a managing editor for a UK-based content production company.

Marketing was always adjacent to what I did, like shaping narratives, refining messaging, and working on content performance, but I hadn’t fully immersed myself in conversion-driven strategy. What appealed to me about joining FM was the opportunity to understand marketing not just as storytelling, but as structured persuasion: designing and delivering content that doesn’t just inform, but converts.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment at Forte Marketing?
It’s the new things and new orders that excite me. The FM team is surprisingly organised for an agency, especially Juan. There’s already a solid foundation in how things are done and how the team interacts. Sometimes, it’s just about clearing the debris so everyone can focus better. I’m happy that I get to be that little Roomba hovering over the office corners.

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?

I worked as a virtual personal assistant for a professional during a very busy season in her career; it was also when her mother fell ill. This was my first gig as a virtual assistant, a role I never imagined I would take on, but eventually did out of curiosity.

I helped with administration, arranged home care, and even coordinated diet catering.

I had worked with her for years, and it was the first time I saw her vulnerable side. That’s when I realised it’s okay not to always do the big, visible things — because sometimes the small things you handle quietly are what allow someone else to show up fully for the bigger picture.

If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
Time control (I’m onto your Time-Turner, Hermione Granger) — or the ability to be in multiple places at once. Efficiency is a love language.

What would you typically be doing and where would we find you when you’re not at work?
At home with my kids, tending to my garden, or reading fiction.

Tell us something surprising about yourself.
Despite my age, I’m a big fan of young adult fiction and manga. Mention a title, and chances are I’ve read it.
