Jack is a software engineer, with experience in application and software development. However, his primary focus is web development.

Describe what you do at Forte Marketing?
I provide effective full stack solutions (primarily web) and assist in processes from requirements gathering, through to building and testing software products.

We all have different ways of working - how would you describe your approach to work?
I would say I am very structured and methodical with how I approach work but similarly to Juan I strive for simplicity as unnecessary complexity can easily compound into much bigger problems. Growth is important to me so I am always taking the chance to invest in finding better tools and refining my processes so that things are more streamlined and the risk of errors or roadblocks are minimised.

What did you do before you started at Forte Marketing and what most appealed to you about joining the team?
I was previously working in a software developer role at a marketing agency in Brisbane. What appealed to me about Forte Marketing is they seemed to be one of the leading marketing agencies in Cairns who show a portfolio of impressive work with great clients. Also, I could tell their web development expertise & methodologies were in great hands and it’s important to me to be part of a team that not only values high-quality development but also focuses on delivering innovative solutions to clients. I’m eager to contribute my skills to help further elevate their digital presence and work on projects that drive real results.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment at Forte Marketing?
The process of refining my work through processes, skills and tools gives me a lot of satisfaction, but ultimately, it gives me the most joy in making my team proud and our clients happy.

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?
The most memorable part of my career is joining the team at Forte Marketing. I lived in Brisbane for 6 years, where I worked in my first developer role, and it was on my heart to move back to my home town in Cairns, where my family are. I’m very happy to now be part of a team of great people who operate in a place that is close to home and where my heart is.

If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
Knowing the future. It’s not immortality or flying but it would make things very interesting.

What would you typically be doing and where would we find you when you’re not at work?
Probably fishing or golfing.
