'Get Water Smart' campaign

In a highly successful partnership with the Cairns Regional Council, Forte Marketing crafted its Water Security campaign, ensuring a comprehensive and effective approach that instilled confidence in the campaign's potential impact.


Creative planning and talent sourcing

The campaign vision incorporated bright digital design elements with real photography to entice viewers. The visuals reinforced the main message for the Cairns community to engage in smart water-saving practices all year round, inspiring a positive change in their habits.

To bring the creative to life, Forte Marketing coordinated talent, scouted locations, and meticulously planned the six executions.


Distribution and placement

The channel distribution mix consisted of Google Display Networks, which placed static and HTML5 animated ads on popular sites such as news.com.au, dailymotion.com, dailymail.com.au, mobile apps, and YouTube. In addition, social media advertising and digital outdoor billboards helped encourage the community to adopt water-saving habits.

Commercials and news sponsorship on Star102.7FM ensured that commuters listening to Cairns’ largest radio station were also aware of responsible water consumption. Free sprinkler timers were also given away through the Star102.7FM ‘Star Car’ to give hundreds of people the tools they needed to implement one of the simple water conservation tips.

Forte Marketing supported the launch of the new campaign by showcasing the ability to successfully combine bespoke photography with creative design and strategically implement the campaign across Cairns.
